We have been distributing Lenmar products for over 3 years now and are extremely happy with their products and service. While no manufacturer is immune to some defects, the Lenmar products have had a very low defect ratio and their willingness to replace any defective products that we have had has been exemplary. In addition the warranty on Lenmar batteries always matches the OEM warranty an in many cases is longer. For instance cel phone and digital camera battery warranties are often 2 years.

Since 1965, Lenmar has been at the forefront of photographic and consumer electronics accessories, providing innovative, high-value solutions for business and consumers. The Lenmar name stands for the highest quality products and a profitable partnership with our retail customers. The company began manufacturing electronic flash units, lenses and other photographic accessories and quickly built a reputation for quality among major U.S. retailers. In 1986 Lenmar began producing products for video cameras and became the leader in the development of replacement rechargeable camcorder batteries.
In the late 1980s Lenmar began to focus on providing a full range of rechargeable battery solutions. In 1992, Lenmar introduced the technologically advanced NoMEM® battery. It was the first 8mm and VHS-C camcorder battery that could be charged and discharged at any level without developing the "memory effect" that shortens battery life. The success of the NoMEM camcorder battery led to Lenmar’s entry into the cellular telephone battery market in 1995, followed by the laptop computer battery market in 1996.
As Lenmar continued to enhance its NoMEM battery line, the company led the market in 1996 with its NoMEM nickel metal hydride (NiMH) technology. In 1998 Lenmar was first to offer NoMEM Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) batteries for camcorders and cellular phones.
In 1999, Lenmar introduced Charge•ables™ rechargeable alkaline batteries, the cost-effective, environment-friendly replacement for disposable AA and AAA alkaline cells. In 2000 the company introduced its NoMEM PRO NiMH AA and NoMEM PRO Beltpacks for digital cameras and other high-drain devices.
The proprietary Mach1® SpeedCharger™, a revolutionary charger that charges 7.2V Li-Ion camcorder and digital camera batteries three times faster than traditional chargers was introduced in 2001. The product won the prestigious CES Innovations Award in 2002. The following year, Lenmar was honored with its second successive CES Innovations Award for the Mach 1 based on applying its breakthrough patented technology to 3.6V applications, thus meeting the needs of the rapidly expanding digital camera market.
In 2002 Lenmar also addressed the legacy camcorder market with the Mach 1 Delta which charges 3.6V and 6V NiMH and NiCd camcorder batteries in under 45 minutes, or two-times faster than conventional chargers. This product also won the prestigious CES Innovations Award in 2004 making it Lenmar’s 3rd straight win. For the general personal electronics market we introduced the Mach 1 Gamma with four charging slots that can charge one to four AA and AAA NiMH batteries up seven times faster than most chargers.
Continuing to provide innovative power solutions, in 2007, Lenmar introduced the PowerPort™ series of “anywhere” charger/battery products designed to charge or power laptops, iPods, iPhones, Blackberry and Razr phones, and USB devices away from AC wall outlets. In addition, the company launched the Solo XP, a single multi-battery charger station that can charge many different digital camera and camcorder batteries by simply swapping out the appropriate adapter plates.
Providing a unique and valuable solution to retailers reeling with having to provide batteries and chargers for the explosion of new electronic products, Lenmar launched BatteryCentral.com in 2000. This customizable e-commerce battery finder and virtual warehouse allows retailers to integrate Lenmar’s comprehensive product database into their own Web sites, enabling their customers to buy batteries and accessories for over 70,000 devices without having to carry extensive inventory. Lenmar powers the online battery finder for such major retailers as Sears, RadioShack, Staples and others.
Today, Lenmar does business around the globe with engineering teams in California and Hong Kong and an ISO 9002-certified manufacturing plant in China.
