GP Battery is a special brand to Vancouver Battery Corp. They were the first brand to help us get on our way. Although they are not as well known to Westerners, they are one of the most popular companies in Asia. There support for us has been a big factor in Vancouver Battery Corp. growing steadily through the years. They supply us with button cell, cordless phone batteries, alkaline batteries as well as industrial cells which we use for custom jobs.

GP History

GP Batteries International Limited is principally engaged in the development, manufacture and marketing of batteries and battery-related products.

Since its establishment under the Gold Peak Group in Hong Kong, GP Batteries has rapidly expanded to become one of the world’s major suppliers of primary and rechargeable batteries. It is the largest consumer battery manufacturer in China. It supplies an extensive range of battery products to original equipment manufacturers, leading battery companies as well as consumer retail markets under its own GP brand name.

GP Batteries has been listed on the Mainboard of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Limited since 1991 and is currently a component stock of the Business Times - Singapore Regional Index.

GP Batteries?production facilities are located in Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan and Malaysia, supported by marketing and trading offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, Poland, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Sweden, the Netherlands, the UK, Russia, France, Canada and the US. The Group currently employs about 10,700 people worldwide and occupies a total floor area of approximately 232,000 square metres.
